There are no guidelines as to where to place the boards and no predrilled holes for the boards. So I had to make my own spacer and carefully screw in each board. If they would take the time to number the boards and predrill holes it would make things easier.

Even though it was quite expensive, it serves the purpose intended. I now wish I could have gotten an 8 ft bridge given the space I needed to cross at two different sections of my backyard. It still is very nice. I received in two separate packages, one was slightly damaged but not enough to warrant a return.

We put a protective cloth over our dining table and assembled the bridge there – making it very easy to access. Done in a couple of hours, including time spent lining up the cross-pieces to maximize the interest in the wood-grain variations. Light enough for us two old folks to carry it easily to its designated spot in the yard. It always attracts favorable comments from our visitors. The only minor disappointment is that having designed all the paths in our new landscape to be wide enough for wheelchairs (with an eye to our potential future!) it would be hard to push a wheelchair over the bridge; although the curve is gentle, it is still too steep to make that easy. It’s a beautiful product though and we are very pleased with it.
